Our Portfolio - Offices at Gatwick Airport - Provision of comfort cooling to serve tenanted offices

Job: Supply and installation of four Sanyo VRV zoned systems, each zone comprising of two condensers connected in parallel. The total number of concealed ducted a/c units is 53. The air distribution is through discreet ‘eyelash’ type grilles within the modular ceilings.

Control: Each office has its own control for simple temperature regulation, and a master control system and schedule timer has overall control.

Fresh air: Fresh air is introduced into each office through the return section of each a/c fan coil unit. The existing plant was made redundant and two new air handling units installed to suit the new arrangements. The AHUs have heater batteries fitted to temper the supply air when ambient temperatures fall below 10C.

Extract air: The existing extract fans were replaced with new to suit the new arrangements. Each office is connected to the extract system via the existing ducting distributions.
